Making Of - the story of the making of

Many of us are working in a state of 'irrational persistence' to bring our vision of expanding human imaginative capacity to life. We call this state irrational persistence because there is no obvious path to monetize our work, but the importance of the work compels us to make the effort to bring the work to life. A vision to expand human imaginative capacity, by its nature, is not going to fit well-trod paths for capitalization or cashflow. However, our inspiration guiding our irrational persistence indicates the need for us to work to expand our human imaginative capacity.

When we share our work in progress, we share the processes of bringing our irrational persistence to fruition. Our sharing, in turn, increases our collective imaginative capacity to implement other's visions of irrational persistence, and, consequently, increase our overall collective capacity to for visioning, imagining, implementing and persisting. When we share these processes, we increase the likelihood of our own success by building connections and attracting support to bring our vision to life. As we share our works in progress, as we share the process of bringing our work to life, our singular irrational persistence becomes a collective movement of self-sustaining relationships enacting a vision to expand our human imaginative capacity.

We celebrate the completion of project milestones and eventually the completion of bringing a vision to life. We can also celebrate the formation of cohorts of individuals, labouring through irrational persistence, to bring our visions for expanded human imaginative capacity to life. It is the daily work of persisting in adverse conditions that requires continuous support and encouragement. We can do this for each other, every day, as we share the quotidian work of bringing our vision to life through irrational persistence. We can celebrate everyday, the milestone of working together, even as we work in singular pursuit of bringing our vision to life.

Share your works in progress. Share your missteps. Share your disappointments. Share your discouragement. Share your small wins. It is in these small ways that we change the course of humanity. Every effort we make to expand our imaginative capacity, when we share it amongst ourselves, has the collective impact of expanding our imaginative capacity. Our irrational persistence, despite slow progress, missteps, disappointments and discouragement, shared with others pursuing the same kind of work, has a significant impact on what it is possible for us to imagine, and thus, what it is possible to bring to life.
